Roundabouts are not rocket science

This is a bit of a rant, so please bear with me.

When I was 16, I took a standard driving course that taught me how to drive. This is typical, and most teenagers take these courses before obtaining their licenses.

Yet somehow my fellow drivers seem to have banded together and collectively decided to ignore the rules of the roundabout.

This is not difficult stuff, really. Any cars coming up to the roundabout are required to yield to the traffic inside the roundabout.

The drivers in my area do not understand this rule. Perhaps they are all driving without having obtained licenses? I doubt it.

Frustrated again,

  1. Haha! There's a roundabout in one of the new shopping centers where I live and it is a hotbed of trouble - seriously. Everyone is always fighting. I can't really talk though; I have yet to obtain my license. :P

  2. Ahh, I feel this way every time I drive on campus or at the mall. No one seems to know what "yield" and "stop" mean!
